Opt-Out Policy

Last updated: May 29, 2026

General information, not legal advice. This policy is provided as a general template for how Smarterblast operates. SMS, email, and telemarketing laws change often and vary by jurisdiction. It is not legal advice and does not create an attorney–client relationship. Consult a qualified attorney about your specific situation.

This Opt-Out Policy explains how recipients can stop receiving messages sent through Smarterblast, and how we and our customers handle those requests across SMS, email, and telemarketing.

SMS opt-out

Recipients can opt out of text messages at any time by replying with a standard keyword such as STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, CANCEL, or END. Under the opt-out rule in effect since April 11, 2025, consumers may also revoke consent by any reasonable method, such as a plain-language reply, an email, or a phone call. A single confirmation message may be sent, after which messaging stops. For more detail, see our guide on SMS marketing compliance.

Email opt-out

Every commercial email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes the recipient from future sends. Opt-outs are processed promptly and within the timeframe required by law.

Telemarketing opt-out

Recipients of automated or live calls may ask to be placed on the internal Do-Not-Call list. Such requests are honored, and the number is suppressed from future calling campaigns.

How we suppress

Opt-outs are recorded and applied so that the contact is excluded from future campaigns of that type. Customers remain responsible for honoring opt-outs they receive directly and for maintaining their own suppression records.
